Well, the move from Luxembourg to Scotland is now almost complete. My computer is back up, the broadband is working and, perhaps most importantly, the Tortis picks are now out of the chaotic mess of boxes and can now be sent out to you, my eager customers! Once again, my humble apologies for the disruption.

Given the organic nature of the material, actual thicknesses tend to vary. Following is a rough guide to the thickness measurements for each gauge:
Light:
Medium:
Heavy:
Gypsy:
1.00 - 1.16mm
1.16 - 1.25 mm
1.26 - 1.50 mm
2.00 - 2.50 mm
All picks are available as a Gypsy Jazzer. The most popular are the C and D styles which I try to keep in stock, as well as the Lil' Jazzer. Please contact me to order any other pick style as a Gypsy Jazzer. Stock Gypsy Jazzer picks are 2.5 mm.
All picks, except the Tri-Tip, are available with a standard knife-edged bevel or a speed bevel. The speed bevel is explained on the speed bevel page.

Lil' Jazzer, based on a small pointy pick made by another company. This pick was designed after a few serious requests for a small, thick pick for the jazz players who prefer that style of pick. This is a thick pick at some 2.5 mm. |
